New St Mary’s School Exhibition

    Dear Resident,

Invitation to attend a Public Exhibition relating to the proposed new primary school on the site of the former St Mary’s Church of England Primary School, Stansted Mountfitchet.

Essex County Council, as the Education Authority, proposes to provide a new primary school (complete new build) on the site of the former St Mary’s Primary School.  This project will provide brand new accommodation and facilities for pupils attending the school and provide a stimulating educational environment for all users. The project design team has been working to develop a proposal that would meet the school’s educational need and fits well on the school site.

We would like to invite you to an exhibition to see the latest proposals and to have your say before the proposals are completed for submission to the County Planning Authority as a full planning application. There will be comment forms at the exhibition that we would ask are completed so that we can capture and consider the views prior to the submission of the planning application.

Representatives from the County Council and the appointed Design and Build team will be on hand to discuss the proposals. It is an opportunity for all with an interest in the proposals to view the plans, ask questions and offer their opinion.

The exhibition will be held at: Peter Kirk Hall, St John’s Road (Thursday 7th January 2016, From 2:30pm – 7:30pm).

Details of the proposal can also be found online at http://www.essexinsight.org.uk – Themes and Projects – Current Consultations. The comment form will be available for completion both online and at the exhibition.

The consultation period will open on Monday 4th January and close on 15th January 2016 and will consider all comments received, both at the exhibition and online, prior to submitting a detailed planning application to the County Planning Authority.  A summary of the pre-application consultation responses will also accompany the submitted planning application.

We hope that you will be able to visit the exhibition, but if not, then please do take the opportunity to view the plans and to have your say online. If you have questions in the meantime, or are unable to visit the website and would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact the Project Sponsor as per the details below.

    Yours faithfully,
    Emma Oni, Project Sponsor
