Local Walks
A new and completely updated edition of Saunters Round Stansted has been produced and will be available very soon... ask the Clerk!
In 1981 the Parish Council published a booklet 'Saunters Round Stansted' containing maps and descriptions of nine walks in and around the village. It is of course very much out of date but the walks can still be done... more or less! Consult an OS map of the area (See to your right) before you start exploring.
The Library still has copies of the booklet, or you can pick one up in the council offices.

While you enjoy your saunters... If you happen to take any photos which could be used to help others find their way, or want to add any new directions to the existing walks, please address them to the Clerk.
A new map of the village with all the footpaths marked is available from the council offices.
